Installation of Electric Vehicle Chargers
Electric Vehicle Charging Points
If you have an electric vehicle, you will need an electric vehicle charger. Whether you need one for your home or your workplace we can install them, we can do a remote survey of your existing electrical distribution equipment all you need to do is send us pictures of your main fuse (normally next to your meter), your metering equipment and your consumer unit/fuse box, where the charger and car will be parked (needs to be your private off-road parking) and tell us how far away from your consumer unit the new car charger will be. Alternatively we can come out and do a quick survey.
EICR Certificates
The new regulations came into force 1st July 2020, all new private tenancies in England will need to ensure that electrical installations are inspected and tested by a qualified person before the tenancy begins. The landlord will then need to ensure that the installation is inspected and tested at least every five years – and more often if the most recent safety report requires it.
The EICR takes about half a day of testing each electrical circuit in the premises and inspecting the condition of the electrical circuits.
